of Middle Tennessee!
Down Syndrome Association of Middle Tennessee (DSAMT) is the definitive resource in Middle Tennessee for accurate and up-to-date information on Down syndrome and a community resource for self-advocates and their families, educators and disability professionals.
Founded by parents in need of support in 1995, DSAMT is a non-profit organization now providing support, information and education to more than 600 families in Nashville and Middle Tennessee. DSAMT provides social and recreational opportunities for individuals with Down syndrome, family centered support groups, educational advocacy, workshops on disability issues for professionals and caregivers, and a bi-annual conference on Down syndrome.
